It is sad that Aishwarya thinks of a movie as "just a movie" when talking of "Slumdog Millionaire". It shows a very shallow view of movies and their impact on the world. First of all "Slumdog.." is a phenomenon and secondly, a movie must, even while entertaining, have something to say, explicit or implicit, it must wake up people's conscience in some way, make them think, it is the greatest platform in the world - don't waste it - movies - whether comedies or tragedies have had a profound influence on people for years - slumdog with its love story, its depiction of slums, children, life in general - has a lot of hidden messages - If there was no Ram or Allah, my mother would still be alive - now that is profound - hence don't say "it is a mere movie and must not be dissected" - I hope she does not approach all her movies with that mentality.
