A real life events gleaned from the 2005 London tube bombings and the subsequent rash police underground execution of Brazilian national Jean Charles de Menezes, Shoot On Sight delves into uncomfortably thorny issues at the crossroads of family, politics and religion.Shoot at sight referes to post 9/11 laws enforcement policy which renders many innocent to death and this story talks about that human side where there is a thin line between the truth and the secret behind. Inspired by events that followed the 2005 bombings of the London transport system, the movie is gamely shouldered by Naseeruddin Shah as Tariq, a Muslim police officer heading an internal investigation into the questionable shooting of a suspected terrorist.
